“Dreamgirls” star Beyoncé Knowles will play the world famous R&B singer Etta James in a movie exploring the rise of American blues on the music scene. “Cadillac Records” is set in 1950s Chicago at a time when some of the biggest future names in popular music were just starting to become known. The movie will also star Adrien Brody as legendary record producer Leonard Chess, “Casino Royale” star Jeffrey Wright as Muddy Waters, Cedric the Entertainer, Columbus Short, Emmanuelle Chriqui and Tammy Blanchard. Other real life music legends that will be shown in the movie include Elvis Presley, Little Walter and Howlin’ Wolf.
