Wednesday, April 4th, 2007
Adam Sandler has signed a deal with Walt Disney Pictures to star and produce a new comedy movie. “Bedtime Stories” is the title of the project which will see the “Click” star play a fast-moving real estate developer who suddenly finds his life a lot more frantic when the over-the-top bedtime stories he tells to his niece and nephew start to actually come to life. Adam Shankman, who directed “The Pacifier” and “Bringing Down the House” for the movie studio before, will helm the new Sandler movie. Shankman is putting the finishing touches on the second big screen version of “Hairspray“, based on the Tony award-winning stage musical which was originally based on John Waters‘ 1988 movie of the same name, for New Line Cinema which is due out in theaters in July.
