Call it a case of Jack Black putting his foot in his mouth but when the funnyman spoke to the assembled press at the Cannes Film Festival to talk about his animated movie “Kung Fu Panda” he let slip Hollywood’s worst kept secret. While being interviewed for the “Today” show Black pointed at co-star Angelina Jolie’s expanding torso and said “You’re gonna have as many as the Brady Bunch when you have these.” While Jolie looks very much pregnant the high-profile actress has decided to not confirm speculation that she is pregnant with twins. “Today” host Natalie Morales took Jack’s quip as an invitation to ask about Angelina’s pregnancy status and the “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” star confirmed that she is in fact carrying twins. This will be the second and third naturally born children for Jolie and her partner Brad Pitt; they are also the adopted parents of three children. Shiloh, Brad and Angelina’s baby girl, is turning two-years-old this month.

Whom do think is the leading Hollywood actress that makes the most money? “Pretty Woman” Julia Roberts would be a good guess but you would still be wrong. What about Angelina Jolie? You would still be wrong. Would you believe that it is Reese Witherspoon?

The “Legally Blonde” and “Sweet Home Alabama” star tops the list for the top actress earnings for 2007 according to “The Hollywood Reporter”. Even though her latest film, “Rendition”, failed to perform at the box office Witherspoon will command between $15 million to $20 million dollars per picture that she makes. She is presently making the comedy “Four Christmases” and is helping to produce a horror film called “Our Family Trouble”.

Angelina Jolie came in number two by making about the same wage that Witherspoon does. Cameron Diaz is number three with an average payday of about $15 million a movie. For Diaz’s work on “Shrek the Third” she is rumored to have made in the neighborhood of $30 million thanks to the profit sharing plan she and her co-stars shared.

Nicole Kidman was number four and Renee Zellweger number five with their $10 to $15 million dollar cost per movie. Rounding out the remaining top ten were Sandra Bullock (#6, $10-15 million), Julia Roberts (#7, $10-15 million), Drew Barrymore (#8, $10-12 million), Jodie Foster (#9, $10-12 million) and Halle Berry (#10, $10 million).

When you see Angelina Jolie’s character in the film “Beowulf” rise nude from out of a pool of water the first thing that your eyes might look at might not be what you would expect. For her role as the mother of Beowulf the world’s most beautiful woman was scanned into a computer and then turned into a hybrid of a seductive woman and a lizard creature complete with a roving tail.

“I got a little shy. I really wasn’t expecting it to feel as real or for as much of me to come out as it did, especially with the type of character I play,” explains the 32-year-old actress. “It was funny at first, but then there were moments where I felt actually shy and called home to explain that the kind of fun movie that I did with digital animation was … a little different than expected. I was really surprised that I felt that exposed.”

And the digital wizards did more than just give Angelina a tail: they also took away a baby bump. “I was actually three months pregnant at the time,” she says. “You wouldn’t know it because we did the mapping of my body before.”
