Bruce Thinking About a Fifth “Die Hard”

Tuesday, June 5th, 2007

diehard4As momentum continues to build towards the release of “Live Free or Die Hard”, Bruce Willis has gone on the record about the possibility of making a fifth movie in the franchise. According to ISEB.net, Willis said “I told them I’d only do it if Len [Wiseman] was involved and Maggie Q and Justin [Long] of course. It’s been since ‘95 so [it’s been] 12 years and 21 years is the span of all four of ‘em. So, you can see me when I’m 31 and you can see me when I’m 52. So you guys will decide.”

There has also been a little bit of controversy with fans of the popular action film series. Unconfirmed reports have surfaced that the new “Die Hard” was about to receive a rating of PG-13 which would make it the only picture among the four films that didn’t get an R rating. There has been speculation that the more timid rating would be issued because of the film’s toned down violence and swearing, even going so far as to not have Willis’s character say his trademark “Yippee-kay-yay-#$@!” line. So far the film’s owner, 20th Century Fox, hasn’t commented on the rumors and the final rating for “Live Free and Die Hard” hasn’t been released. We will know for sure when the movie opens in theaters on June 27.
